Randy Winn had 3 base hits as the Enterprise Trekkers beat the Chicago
Rastafarians by a score of 6 to 5.
Enterprise had the winning rally in the 8th inning when they scored 5 runs on
3 hits. The key offensive moment was provided by Dave Roberts who excited
the crowd when he blasted a two-run home run (his 2nd of the season).
Enterprise finished with 9 hits in the victory.
Wilson Alvarez(5-4) got the win allowing no runs in 1 and 2/3 innings. The
losing pitcher was Brad Lidge(8-4) in relief. Scott Leitner was just happy
to get a win, 'We've had such a bad streak of games -- boy, it's great to get
the monkey off our back. Now maybe we can relax a little and play the kind
of baseball of which we are capable.'
